Our environmental responsibility
Care, observance and responsible management of environmental aspects are our priorities. The world we like and aspire to is one in which everyone strives to create a better future, protecting the planet’s resources and preserving the environment.
The climatic emergency demands that we intensify our commitment aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and that we help in limiting climatic change.
We wish to contribute, through projects that look towards the future and the environment. This is the philosophy that guides our decisions and allows us to channel energy and investments in sustainable growth.
Our steps
A path sustained over
15 years
For 15 years we have been constantly committing ourselves to improving and innovating our processes in order to reduce environmental impact on the planet.
For this reason we have undertaken several projects, adopting an increasingly attentive approach to sustainability and to reducing the Carbon Footprint of our processes and products, with the goal, by 2027, to produce an entirely CO2 compensated book.
We were inspired by several initiatives from the international context, among which the United Nations 2030 Agenda, which established the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be achieved by 2030.
Continuous investments in technological innovation aimed at improving our processes make the entire production cycle increasingly sustainable in terms of CO2 emissions, acquisition of raw materials and energy consumption. To underline this, is the fact that, since 2012, 100% of the energy we use comes from renewable sources.

ONU Objectives
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is an action plan for people, the planet, and prosperity signed in September 2015 by the governments of the 193 UN member countries. It incorporates 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into a comprehensive action program comprising 169 targets.
The official launch of the Sustainable Development Goals coincided with the beginning of 2016, guiding the world on the path it has to undertake in the next 15 years: member countries have committed to achieving these goals by 2030.
