Project Description

Julio Mario Santo Domingo, son of one of the most influential and wealthiest Colombian families, gathered during the course of his life this amazing and original collection of material documenting altered states of mind.
Posters, scientific books, objects from all over the world and much more trace the history and the social evolution of altered states induced in humans by the most disparate means.
This publication, consisting of two volumes in a clamshell case, documents a collection made over a lifetime. It is divided into types of altered states, and is intended to educate the reader as they experience it.
Most of the objects in the books were photographed and documented at Harvard University.
